Clanmates began in 2020 as a boutique upholstery & Hard Surfaces-care studio in Kolkata — a small team obsessed with Protecting premium sofas, carpets, headboard, fabric wall panel, curtains and Solid Surface from kitchen slab to exotic dining table, center table, side table, or crafted masterpiece/hi gloss polycot surface to showroom condition. Within two years we were servicing home,bungalows,pent house, cars, hotels, design studios, furnishing houses, furniture showrooms, carpet industries and thousands of Spaces across all over India.
But we kept seeing the same pattern: a spotless clean, followed weeks later by the very next spill. In 2019 our Collaboration with our nation based chemical lab began developing a nano-scale barrier that could bond to fibers, and an exiting SPF & PPF technology for wooden hi gloss surface and expensive stone inlay or textured, high polished surface without changing look, feel or breathability. One year and 47 formulation cycles later, the Stainguard Pro shield was born.
